RoadLedger

Privacy Policy

Updated: July 22, 2026 Effective: July 22, 2026

RoadLedger is a vehicle service workflow tool for dealership and workshop teams. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use its local work orders, customer records, follow-ups, and staff profile features.

1. Information We Collect

Information you enter. You may enter information needed to manage a service visit, including a customer name, phone number, notes, vehicle make and model, license plate, VIN, mileage, exterior color, fuel level, service concerns, diagnosis, inspection results, recommended work, work-order status, payment details, appointment timing, follow-up notes, and staff display name, role, or avatar.

Information stored on your device. RoadLedger stores these records in the app’s local data store so that the workflow, timeline, dashboard, reminders, and profile features work on your device.

Information we do not automatically collect. RoadLedger does not require registration or login and does not automatically upload your records to our servers. The app does not request contacts or location, and it does not use advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or remote crash telemetry. The app does not access photos unless you choose to use a system-provided image picker for a profile avatar.

Local notifications are scheduled on your device only after you enable and use reminder features. The system share sheet is opened only when you choose to share a report or summary.

2. How We Use Information

Information entered into RoadLedger is used to:

  • create and manage customer, vehicle, work-order, inspection, service, payment, and handover records;
  • show work-order timelines, dashboard summaries, workload indicators, and follow-up tasks;
  • schedule local reminders that you request;
  • save the staff profile displayed in the app; and
  • respond to support requests or comply with applicable legal requirements when you contact us.

We do not use this information for advertising profiles, cross-app tracking, or automated sale of personal information.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, exchange, or rent your personal information. RoadLedger has no built-in cloud database, account service, advertising network, or remote analytics service.

Information may leave the device only when you choose to share it through the system share sheet, when disclosure is required by law or valid legal process, or when you give us clear instructions and consent to provide information for support. A person or organization receiving a report from you may process it under its own privacy policy.

4. Storage and Security

RoadLedger stores operational records and profile settings in the app’s local storage on your device. The app does not provide cloud synchronization, multi-device access, or a remote backup service. Deleting the app or its local data may remove records that have not been exported or shared.

We use the protections provided by the operating system and reasonable app safeguards. No device, transmission, or electronic storage method is completely secure, so keep your device protected and share service records only with people who need them.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Because records are stored locally, you can review, edit, or delete them directly in the app. You can also choose whether to enable local reminders and whether to share a report. You may contact us to ask questions about this policy or request help with information you provide to us.

RoadLedger does not maintain user accounts, so there is no separate account-cancellation process. If you remove the app and its local data, locally stored records are removed by the operating system.

6. Third-Party Services

RoadLedger does not integrate advertising, analytics, social-login, cloud-storage, or remote-push SDKs. It uses operating-system features such as local notifications and the system share sheet when you choose to use them. Those operating-system features are governed by Apple’s applicable terms and privacy information.

The app does not send your service records to a third party unless you initiate a share or another disclosure described in this policy.

7. Children’s Privacy

RoadLedger is designed for dealership and workshop personnel and is not directed to children under 13, or the applicable minimum age in your region. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review the request.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app, data practices, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be published with a new updated date. If a change materially affects how information is handled, we will provide a notice in the app or through another reasonable channel where appropriate.

9. Contact Us
